Increasing a Hero's star rating increases your Hero's overall strength.
You can increase the star rating of a Hero by collecting Fragments of the Hero and fusing them with the hero. This is called Evolution. Once you have enough Fragments, earned through missions, Hero Crates, and other means, tap on Evolve and pay the buck fee to reach the next star level.
